When I set up this account it was intended as a back up to my original in case LJ ever went totally Nazi especially about fanfic writers.
What I never envisaged is Livejournal blocking me out altogether. Now i understand I'm not the only one who has been having problems. However having jumped through the hoops LJ demanded and discovered that whatever problem I'm experiencing is, it has nothing to do with either my ISP or the route my attempts at accessing take through the information superhighway.
Traceroute doesn't identify any problem LJ has highlighted.
So I'm at an Impasse and it seems that whatever is wrong is at the point when LJs own servers are accessed. However instead allowing log in it just hangs there as if caught in a loop.
As LJ won't admit they are at fault correction of whatever error is causing this is going to take some time.
